Autumn Training Schedule announced!
Local Enterprise Office Tipperary is launching it’s Autumn training calendar which includes up to 35 training courses, workshops, events and initiatives designed to support the County’s existing and potential entrepreneurs. The Local Enterprise Office is available to anyone looking to start or grow a business and a meeting with a Business Advisor can be arranged to discuss the supports and services offered to all small business.
The range of services consists of financial and non financial supports for entrepreneurs and businesses including Digital, LEAN, Green for Business and the Energy Efficiency Grant. As well as start up and business expansion grants, the LEO also offers technical grants and grants to get business trading on line (TOV grant). The LEO has an extensive Mentor and Consultants panel and professionals from this panel are assigned to work with local businesses to address issues across all business functions such as marketing, finance, HR, product development, branding, intellectual property and copyright etc.
This Autumn, business skills training courses scheduled include the very popular Start Your Own Business, Writing a Business Plan for Funding, Idea Generation, Tax & VAT for Small Business and Costing & Pricing. Social Media and ICT feature strongly offering courses such as Digital Marketing Programme for the Tourism Sector, AI for Digital Marketing, Facebook & Instagram Advertising, Email Marketing with Mailchimp, Canva Image Editing, Creating Digital Videos and Search Engine Optimisation.
The offering also includes one to one clinics in the areas of Finance, Marketing and Websites and in September there will be a full day course on Working with a Wordpress Website at the Anner Hotel, Thurles. Mid-September sees an information session on a NEW programme called Amplify which commences in October. The programme is designed to show business owners how to create and launch a digital product to grow their business online! So if you are a knowledge worker (coach, consultant/expert), a craft-based business with a skill to teach, a software or service business then the information session is a must if you are seeking to increase market-share.
Other October webinars include GDPR Essentials for Small Business, an Introduction to Procurement & Tendering as well as a 6 part Sales & Marketing programme and Time Management for Busy Business Owners! All courses can be booked on line at www.localenterprise.ie/tipperary. Booking fees are kept to a minimum for small businesses and range from Free of Charge or €10 up to €30 for Start Your Own Business Courses. Early booking is advised as numbers are strictly limited and places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
