Clár Cruinniú na nÓg

Féadfaidh údaráis áitiúla imeachtaí agus gníomhaíochtaí a reáchtáil do leanaí agus do dhaoine óga, amhail amharclann sráide, ceardlanna, taispeáintí agus léitheoireacht mar chuid de Lá Náisiúnta Cruinniú na nÓg chun rannpháirtíocht i gcultúr agus i gcruthaitheacht a spreagadh.

Cruinniú na nÓg

Cruinniú na nÓg, Ireland’s national festival of creativity for young people was celebrated on Saturday 15th June 2024 across Tipperary. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people.  Tipperary Creative Ireland office together with Tipperary Library Service, Tipperary Museum of Hidden History, Arts Centres & creative providers throughout Tipperary were delighted to present a busy day of FUN creative activities for all.

This year's festival for children and young people featured Dance, Circus, Music, Painting, Arts & Crafts, Robotics, Jewellery-making, Storytelling, Lego-making, Drama, Curating, Films, Workshops, Baking, Drawing, Clayworks, Youth Theatre and Zine-making. 

This year was our biggest festival ever including over 50 events & creative projects, with participants and audience members in excess of 2000.

 

Consultation Services for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025

Purpose:

To carry out a comprehensive creative consultation process with children and young people across County Tipperary in Autumn 2024. This consultation shall produce a report with recommendations which will help shape the Tipperary Cruinniú na nÓg programme 2025.

We are currently seeking applications from individuals, groups and/or organizations experienced in facilitating public engagement consultation with children and young people. This consultation may include delivering creative activities and workshops. We would like to hear from young people about the type of creative activities/projects that they would like to see programmed for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025. We also seek to gauge the overall visibility/impact of the Cruinniú na nÓg programme and receive a broad range of perspectives from different backgrounds, age groups, locations across County Tipperary. 

Budget

The budget for the project is up to €5,000 - this will include fees, travel & expenses, consultation development, preparation, delivery and reporting. 

Individuals/organisations will be required to have public liability insurance and Garda Vetting will be completed.

  2. CV, including two referees. 
  3. An example of a consultation with children/young people that you have previously devised and delivered.
  4. Child protection policy
