Tipperary County Council and Tipperary Energy Agency have designed special trees and leaves from sustainable sources to gather young people’s ideas about energy that will be on display in the coming months.
The first of its kind in Ireland Setanta Fire Fighter Games was held in Tipperary on September 14th.
Tipperary Fire Fighters and Officers battled it out in a day long event in a test of their physical fitness and endurance at the inaugural Games earlier this month.

Minister Humphreys launched the Connected Hubs Voucher Scheme, which will give remote workers free use of their local digital hub.
At least 10,000 hot desk spaces will be provided under the Scheme, which is aimed at both existing hub users, as well as those accessing hub facilities for the first time.

The rollout of high-speed broadband through the National Broadband Plan (NBP) will be a key enabler of remote working in rural Ireland, with added benefits through reduced commuting time, lower transport emissions, a better work-life balance and improved quality of life.
