DECISION TO CLOSE THE L-4021 EMMETT STREET AND THOMOND ROAD , THURLES, CO.TIPPERARY

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: L-4021 Emmett Street and Thomond Road , Thurles, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 12.00hrs on Saturday 8 July 2023 to 24:00hrs on Monday 10 July 2023.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling west on the N75 will continue on the N75 to the Slievenamon Rd./N62 junction where they will be diverted left onto the N62 Slievenamon Rd. and continue their onward journey.
Traffic travelling North on the N62 will continue on the N62 up to Liberty Square where they will join the N75 East and continue their onward journey.
Local Access will be maintained on the L-4021
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate safe pedestrian access to the Liberty Musical Festival.
