The European Union (Planning and Development) (Renewable Energy) Regulations 2025 has made amendments to the Planning and Development Act 2000 and the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 to 2025 with the aim of speeding up the consent/permit granting times lines for prescribed renewable energy development types.
