ROADWORKS SPECIAL SPEED LIMIT ORDER
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 that Tipperary County Council, exercises its powers vested under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 and in the interest of Road Safety, has made an order as follows; to introduce a Temporary Road Traffic 50km/hr Speed Limit, by way of Road Works Speed Limit Orders to facilitate road works as specified in the Schedule below: -

The Road Works Speed Limit Order will be effective from Thursday 20 June to Thursday 19 June 2025 both dates inclusive.
Representations in relation to this order may be made in writing to the Roads Department, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

National Slow Down Day – 24hr speed enforcement operation takes place from 7am Friday 19th April to 7am Saturday 20th April.

Temporary Traffic Management on the L-3210-1 Tullowmacjames , Templetouhy, Co.Tipperary.
From the 20th of March 2024 to the 21st of March 2024 for resurfacing works.
From 10.00hrs to 15.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Diversion will be in place. Local Access Only. Expect delays.

R660 between Holycross and Dew Valley Foods has now re-opened following an earlier road traffic collision.

The R503 at Rearcross is due to reopen at 16.00hrs.

ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 70 ROADSIDE TREES, DITCHES AND HEDGES.
From 1 September 2023 until 29 February 2024

Tipperary County Council wishes to give notice that under the terms of the Roads Act, 1993, Landowners and occupiers of lands are obliged to take all reasonable care to ensure that the trees, ditches, hedges and other vegetation growing on their lands are not or could not become a danger to people using or working on a public road.

Temporary Traffic Management on the L-2111 Derryhogan,between Littleton and Glengoogle Co.Tipperary.
From the 12th of October 2023 to the 13th of October 2023 for resurfacing works.
From 07.00hrs to 19.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Local access only,Diversion in place.

Temporary Traffic Managment on the R-688-4 Mocklerstown to Ballybeg, Clonmel,Co.Tipperary.
From the 07th of October 2023 to the 08 October 2023 to facilitate the installation of High Friction Surfacing.
From 07.00hrs to 19.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Traffic lights / Stop GO will be in place Expect Delays. Local access will be facilitated.
