A group has been established to start a Town Centre First team for Cashel with the added purpose of developing a new Town Centre First Plan for the town, a promising initiative aimed to further revitalise the town and making it more attractive for residents, businesses and visitors alike. The final team will is made up of a diverse range of stakeholders representing the business, retail, sporting, community, voluntary, youth and education sector in the town. The Town Team are akin to the local experts who have come together to make their area a better place to live, work, visit and invest, make a positive impact and deliver positive outcomes. They will work in collaboration with Tipperary County Council and local representatives to support the delivery of a new Town Centre First Plan for Cashel.
It is proposed to hold a public meeting in the summer where people can come in to meet the group, discuss the plans for development of the town and express an interest in joining the new Team.
