DECISION TO CLOSE THE R-493-155 AT FIRMOUNT, CARRIGAHORIG, CO. TIPPERARY,
NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: |
The R493-155 at Firmount, Carrigahorrig (Carrigahorig to Terryglass Road), Co. Tipperary. The road will be closed from the junction with the N65 at Carrigahorig to Terryglass Village. |

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: |
From 08:00hrs on Wednesday 15 October 2025 to 16:30hrs on Friday 07 November 2025. |

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: |
South Bound Traffic from Carrigahorig to Terryglass: At Carrigahorig, divert south on the N65 to Borrisokane, west on the L1092 to Ballinderry and north on the R493 to Terryglass.
North Bound Traffic from Terryglass to Carrigahorig: At Terryglass, divert east on the L1089 Roran road, north east on the L1093 and north on the N65 to Carrigahorig. |
| REASON FOR CLOSURE: | To carry out emergency drainage works and resurface the road at Firmount, Carrigahorig. |
