DECISION TO CLOSE THE M8 MOTORWAY BETWEEN JUNCTION 6(HORSE AND JOCKEY) AND JUNCTION 7(CASHEL), CO. TIPPERARY.
NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

Closure 1: M8 Motorway northbound carriageway between Junction 7 and Junction 6, Co. Tipperary. Closure 2: M8 Motorway southbound carriageway between Junction 7 and Junction 6, Co. Tipperary. |

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: |
Closure 1: From 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs daily (Mon-Fri), commencing from Tuesday 04 August 2026 to Saturday 10 October 2026. Closure 2: From 21:00hrs to 06:00hrs on Tuesday 11 August 2026. |

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: |
Diversion routes via the R693 between Junction 7 Cashel and Junction 6 Horse and Jockey. |
