Tipperary Age Friendly & Tidy Towns Dementia Signage Launch 9th April

On Thursday 9th April Tipperary County Council, Tipperary Age Friendly and the HSE’s Dementia: Understand Together were delighted to launch the Tipperary Tidy Towns Dementia Awareness Signage Campaign at Cabragh Wetlands Visitor and Interpretive Centre Holycross.
The campaign is part of the ongoing work by Tipperary Tidy Towns to welcome and include people living with dementia in their community. The signage is a visual symbol of solidarity and support for the many people affected by the condition.

CLÁR 2026 – Measure 1: Developing Community Facilities & Amenities

CLÁR (Ceantair Laga Árd-Riachtanais) is a targeted investment programme for rural areas that aims to provide funding for small infrastructural projects in areas that experience disadvantage. The aim of CLÁR is to support the sustainable development of identified CLÁR areas with the aim of attracting people to live and work there. The CLÁR areas have been extended in 2026 and now included the following District Electoral Divisions in Co. Tipperary:
