NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

BE CLOSED: L2133-17(Coum Road) Scragg, Ballywilliam, Nenagh, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 16.00hrs on Friday 20 December 2024 to 16.00hrs on the 24 January 2025
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: • Traffic travelling north will be diverted by Burgess Graveyard (L21332-0) and onwards to Frawley’s Lane the L21334-0 re-joining the L2133-17 at Burgesbeg.

• Traffic travelling south on the L2133-17 from Coum will be diverted by Carrigeen (L6047-0) towards Ballyhogan the L6046-0 and onwards to Ballywilliam Church the L2139-0.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: Emergency Bridge Repairs Required

INTENTION TO CLOSE THE L-6301 BALLINARD TO KILLENAULE, CO.TIPPERARY

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED L-6301 Ballinard to Killenaule, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 07:00hrs on Monday 13 January 2025 to 19:00hrs on Friday 14 March 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling from Coolbawn to Rathkenny Junction to be diverted on the R689 at Coolbawn Cross and turn at Crosscannon onto The New Line L2301 and turn right in Drangan Village onto the L2303.
And vice versa for traffic travelling from Rathkenny Junction to Coolbawn Cross.

REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the laying of new Water to eradicate Leakage and water quality issues

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday 19 December 2024 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie

ROUTES: Traffic Diversions Via Murgasty Rd (R-497) & Rosanna Rd (R-661)
With Diversions local to the works via James Connolly Park (L-4406-6) & Dundrum Rd (L-4407)
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the construction of a new junction layout, drainage, service installation and road construction

Decision to extend the closure on the R496-13 Ballina, Co. Tipperary as a Matter of Urgency

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council make an Order closing:

ROAD TO

BE CLOSED:

R-496-13 from Junction at Roolagh at R-494-0 for a 100m section
PERIOD OF

CLOSURE:

From 00.00hrs on Monday the 02 December 2024 to 08.00hrs on Wednesday 11 December 2024
ALTERNATIVE

ROUTES:

All local traffic on the R496-13/0 travelling towards Ballina will be required to divert to the junction at Ayrestown with the R445-8 turning right for Birdhill - then divert northwards via the R494-0 towards Ballina.

All traffic from Ballina to the R496-13/0 will be diverted via the R494-0 southwards towards Birdhill and then via the R445-8 northwards towards the R496-13 junction at Ayrestown.

Diversions will be clearly signposted for traffic travelling towards Ballina.

REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate Road construction and utility works.
