NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED N65 Ballinruddery, Carrigahorig, Nenagh, Co.tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 00:00hrs on Monday 12 August to 00:00hrs on Saturday 17 August 2024
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: North Bound:
North on the R438 from the N65/R438 junction at Derrinvohill to the R438/R489 junction at Walshpark and west on the R438 to the N65/R489 junction at The Ferry.
South Bound:
West on the R489 from the N65/R489 junction at The Ferry to the R438/R489 junction at Walshpark and south on the R438 to the N65/R438 junction at Derrinvohill.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate Road Resurfacing

Decision To Close The L-4156 Ballymureen To Pouldine, Co. Tipperary.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing :

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: L-4156 Ballymureen to Pouldine, Co. Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: From 00.00 on the 06 July 2024 to 23.59 on the 19 July 2024.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling south on the R639 will continue as far as Horse and Jockey turning right onto the L4150 in the direction of Thurles, crossing the M8 intersection to join the N62 and continue their onward journey.

Traffic travelling east on the L-4156 from Holycross and traffic travelling south from Thurles on the N62 will continue on the N62 crossing the M8 intersection onto the L-4150 to Horse and Jockey turning left on the R-639 and continue their onward journey.

All diversion routes will be fully signed.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the laying of a new watermain

From the 08 July 2024 to the 09 July 2024 for survey works.
From 08.00hrs to 17.00hrs for the duration of the works.

From the 08 July 2024 to 10 July 2024 for surface dressing works.
From 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Temporary Traffic Management will be in place with a diversion route for the duration of the works.

BE CLOSED L-7160-0 Abbey Road Bridge, Templemore ,Co. Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 00:00hrs on Tuesday 06 August 2024 to 00:00hrs on Friday 06 September 2024.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic accessing Abbey Lane (L-7160) from the Blackcastle Rd. will remain on the L-3066 Blackcastle Rd turning right at the T-Junction onto the N62, continuing on the R501 to L7160 Abbey Lane.

REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the replacement of a bridge culvert off Blackcastle Rd.
