NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

BE CLOSED L-5221-0 Cumask, Dundrum, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 08:00hrs on Monday 12 August 2024 to 17:00hrs on Friday 23 August 2024
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Diversion route along the R661 to Dundrum Village where it will join the R505 towards Knockavilla.
Take the L-1288 ‘Ballagh Road’ to complete the diversion.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate Bridge repairs

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing :

BE CLOSED: L-4156 Ballymureen to Pouldine, Co. Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: From 00.00 on the 06 July 2024 to 23.59 on the 19 July 2024.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling south on the R639 will continue as far as Horse and Jockey turning right onto the L4150 in the direction of Thurles, crossing the M8 intersection to join the N62 and continue their onward journey.

Traffic travelling east on the L-4156 from Holycross and traffic travelling south from Thurles on the N62 will continue on the N62 crossing the M8 intersection onto the L-4150 to Horse and Jockey turning left on the R-639 and continue their onward journey.

All diversion routes will be fully signed.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the laying of a new watermain

CLOSURE: 00:00hrs on Tuesday 06 August 2024 to 00:00hrs on Friday 06 September 2024.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic accessing Abbey Lane (L-7160) from the Blackcastle Rd. will remain on the L-3066 Blackcastle Rd turning right at the T-Junction onto the N62, continuing on the R501 to L7160 Abbey Lane.

REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the replacement of a bridge culvert off Blackcastle Rd.

From 08.00hrs to 19.00hrs on the 03 July 2024 for road retexturing works.
Stop and Go system will be in place.
