Intention To Close The R438-32 Graigue, Rathcabbin, Co. Tipperary

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED R438-32 Graigue, Rathcabbin, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 07:00hrs on Monday 22 September 2025 to 18:00hrs on Sunday 05 October 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: North bound from Borrisokane.
Divert at Walshpark Cross, travel east on the R489 to Riverstown, north on the N52 to the traffic lights on the Tullamore Road, Birr, west on Pound Street, north on the R439 Banagher Road and re-join the R438 at Taylors Cross.

South bound from Athlone.
Divert at Taylors Cross, travel south on the R438 to Birr, east on Pound Street, south on the N52 to the Roscrea road roundabout, west on the N52 to Riverstown, continue west on the R489 and re-join the R438 at Walshpark cross.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To replace a damaged culvert

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday 28 August 2025 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: L3279 between Rathronan Cross and Clashaniska, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 00:00hrs on Tuesday 19 August 2025 to 23:59hrs on Friday 05 September 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic will be diverted via the R689, N24 and R688.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the installation of two new watermains and repurposing of the existing pipeline

BE CLOSED 1) M7 Westbound Off-Slip at J23 Moneygall
2) M7 Westbound On-Slip at J23 Moneygall
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: Nightly from 19:00hrs on Monday 08 September 2025 to 06:00hrs on Saturday 04 October 2025.
Excluding the week of the 14 – 20 September 2025 due to the ploughing championship.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: 1) Westbound Off-Slip Closure Advance Diversion: J22, N62, R445
1) Westbound Off-Slip Closure Secondary Diversion: J24, R445
2) Westbound On-Slip Closure (R445 Northbound Approach): M7 East, J22, M7 West
2) Westbound On-Slip Closure (R445 Southbound Approach): R445, J24, M7 West
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate pavement works at M7 J23 Roundabout with the R445 at the Entrance to Barack Obama Plaza
