SECTION 10 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 2004
ROADWORKS SPECIAL SPEED LIMIT ORDER
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 that Tipperary County Council, exercises its powers vested under Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 and in the interest of Road Safety, has made an order as follows; to introduce a Temporary Road Traffic 50km/hr Speed Limit, by way of Road Works Speed Limit Orders to facilitate road works as specified in the Schedule below: -

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED L8312 Cloghleigh, Golden, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 01:00hrs on Monday 8 July 2024 to 23:59hrs on Monday 15 July 2024.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Diversion route along the L-4305 and the L-8311 and the L1316. Local access to be maintained.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the installation of a cattle underpass

DECISION TO CLOSE THE N75 THURLES BRIDGE, CATHEDRAL STREET, THURLES,CO.TIPPERARY

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: The N75 Thurles Bridge, Cathedral Street, Thurles, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: Nightly from 19:00hrs on Monday 17 June 2024 to 05:00hrs on Tuesday 25 June 2024
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling east on the N75 towards Two-Mile-Borris will be diverted in Liberty Square turning right onto the N62 for approx. 2.5km, turning left onto the L-4161 Turtulla, turning left at the tee junction onto the L4157 Mill Rd., and remaining on this road until the roundabout on the N75 to continue the onward journey.

Traffic travelling west on the N75 will be diverted at the Mill road roundabout onto the L-4157 Mill Rd. for approx. 2km turning right onto the L-4161 Turtulla, and turning right at the tee junction onto the N62, remaining on this road until Liberty Square to continue the onward journey.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate resurfacing works
