NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED Junction 6 Northbound on the M8 Motorway, Horse and Jockey, Co. Tipperary.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: Nightly from 19:00hrs to 05.00hrs on
Thursday 10 April 2025 and Wednesday 16 April 2025 to Friday 18 April 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Exit the M8 at Junction 6, Horse and Jockey, turn left in Horse and Jockey on the R639, Follow the R639 through Littleton, Ballyshane and Urlingford, turn left onto the R693 after Urlingford and re-join the M8 in junction 4
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate ITS works at the VMS gantry

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday 13 March 2025 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
