Tipperary LCDC is Seeking Applications from the Public for Membership of their LEADER Independent Evaluation Committees

Tipperary Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) is delivering the Rural Development Programme (LEADER) 2023-2027 in Tipperary in partnership with Tipperary County Council, South Tipperary Development Company and North Tipperary Development Company. Independent Evaluation Committees (IEC) will be established to assess and evaluate all project proposals for RDP funding. We are now seeking applications for membership of the IECs, one for North Tipperary and one for South Tipperary.

BE CLOSED L-3610-0 Catherine Street, Clonmel from its junction with Kickham Street, to its junction with Upper Gladstone Street
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 07:00hrs on Monday 10 November 2025 to 07:00hrs on Friday 21 November 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: L-3609-0 Kickham Street, R-707-3 Kickham Street, R688-13 Kickham Street
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the repair/replacement of water main and all associated works, including reinstatement of carriageway, footway& verges where required

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED R688 Upper Gladstone Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary from its junction with Kickham Street, to its junction with Queen Street.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 07:00hrs on Monday 27 October 2025 to 07:00hrs on Friday 14 November 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling from Kickham Park or Prior Park Road should divert via R707 Queen Street, L-3605 Bolton Street and Mary Street and R884 O’Connell Street.

Local access will be granted for residents.

REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the repair/replacement of water main and all associated works, including reinstatement of carriageway, footway& verges where required

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: L-2708 Bridge Street, from it’s junction with Main Street R885, to its junction with North Quay L-6712/L-27018.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: From 07.00hrs on Monday 01 September 2025 to 19.00hrs on Sunday 12 October 2025.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Follow Main St R885, through Westgate on to Greystone St. and on to N24 Well Road, to the junction of the N24 at Deerpark. Turn South on to L-6712 and continue to Bridge Street.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: Repair and replacement of water mains
