Press Release: Minister McConalogue Launches the Energy and Farm Diversification Show 2024

The Energy and Farm Diversification Show 2024 was officially launched by Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Charlie McConalogue TD. The event on Thursday, 18 July, 2024, at Gurteen Agricultural College, County Tipperary, is being organised by Teagasc, Tipperary County Council, the Irish Farmers Association (IFA), Irish Farmers Journal, Technological University Shannon (TUS), Macra, and Gurteen Agricultural College.

RZLT- Stage 3- Final Maps Published

The Residential Zoned Land Tax was introduced in the Finance Act 2021. The objective of the tax is to activate land that is serviced and zoned for residential use or mixed use, including residential use, in order to increase housing supply and to ensure regeneration of vacant and idle lands in urban areas.

Material Alterations LAPs

Proposed Material Amendments to the Clonmel, Nenagh & Thurles LAPs

In accordance with Section 20 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), Tipperary County Council has screened the Proposed Material Alterations and has determined, in the case of all three LAPs, that Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) and Appropriate Assessments (AA) are not required with respect to the Proposed Material Alterations.
