Place Standard Tool Training - Old Bridge Clonmel

Place Standard took place in Old Bridge on the 2nd October 2024.
We used what is called the “PLACE STANDARD TOOL” which seeks to get Old Bridge community’s views and opinions on how good Old Bridge is as a place to live by completing a survey.

The results of the survey highlighted identity and belonging, influence & sense of control, housing & community, social interactions, natural spaces needing little room for improvement and Moving around, public transport, traffic & parking, play & recreation needing lots of improvement. The next steps are: Feedback report to the Old Bridge community and agencies. Roll out Place Standard with young people and older adults in the Old Bridge area.

Community Conversations on Substance Use in Clonmel

The purpose of this conversation is to explore the experience of Substance Use in Clonmel and consider what impacts it has on the Community. Once we have captured this understanding and shared it, then the conversation can move on to consider what we can do individually, working together and working with service providers to help secure a healthy and safe community for everyone.

What is a Men’s Shed?

The Food Pyramid allows individuals the flexibility to choose foods and drinks from each shelf depending on their food preferences. It organises foods and drinks into 5 main shelves, starting from the most important shelf on the bottom.
