INTENTION TO CLOSE THE N75 THURLES BRIDGE, CATHEDRAL STREET, THURLES,CO.TIPPERARY
NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED The N75 Thurles Bridge, Cathedral Street, Thurles, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: Nightly from 19:00hrs on Monday 17 June 2024 to 05:00hrs on Tuesday 25 June 2024
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling east on the N75 towards Two-Mile-Borris will be diverted in Liberty Square turning right onto the N62 travelling to Horse and Jockey, turning left onto the R639 as far as Littleton, turning left in the village onto the L-4157, remaining on this road until the roundabout on the N75.
Traffic travelling west on the N75 will be diverted at the Mill road roundabout onto the L-4157 as far as Littleton village, turning right onto the R639 to Horse and Jockey, turning right on to the L4150 and continuing on the N62 to Liberty Square.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate resurfacing works
Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh not later than 12 noon on Thursday 30 May 2024 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
