NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: Closure 1: Lakeshore Drive, Ballina, Including parking spaces adjacent to Flanagan’s on the Lake
The L-6090-0 and L-6092-0

Closure 2: Graves of the Leinster Men, Ballina, Road from Derrybeg to Cooneen
The L-2134-0, L-6038 and partial closure on the L-6037-0.

PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: Closure 1: Ballina
From 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs on Saturday 09 September 2023.
Closure 2: Graves of the Leinster Men Road
From 03:00hrs to 13:00hrs on Saturday 09 September 2023.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Closure 1: Ballina
R494-22, full access to the Lakeside hotel will be available via the L-6092-0 from 11.00hrs onwards.
Closure 2: Graves of the Leinster Men Road
Traffic will be diverted via the main R494-13.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the Quest Lough Derg Event.

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads, Transportation & Infrastructure, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday 17 August 2022 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.

Decision To Close The N74 Golden To Knockroe Road, Golden Road, Co. Tipperary.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: N74 Golden to Knockroe road, Golden, Co. Tipperary.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 07:00hrs on Thursday 17 August 2023 to 19:00hrs on Friday 25 August 2023.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling from Golden Village will be diverted via the L-4305 heading towards New Inn. Traffic will take a left in New Inn and travel along the R639 towards Cashel. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N74. At the second roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on N74. At the third roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Cahir Rd/N74 at the fourth roundabout take the 1st exit.

Traffic Traveling from Cashel will be diverted via the N74 heading towards the Cashel road roundabout, take the 3rd exit on the Cashel road roundabout. At the 2nd and 3rd roundabout take the second exit. At the 4th roundabout take the 1st exit heading in the direction of New Inn. Traffic will take a right in New Inn and travel along the L-4305 towards Golden Village.

Diversions will be clearly signposted.

REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate road resurfacing works.

M7 Junction 26 East Bound- Detour to Junction 25 and back to Junction 26 West Bound off- slip

M7 Junction 27 West Bound – Detour to Junction 28 and back to Junction 27 East Bound off-slip
