TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROAD

DECISION TO CLOSE THE L-4021 EMMETT STREET AND THOMOND ROAD , THURLES, CO.TIPPERARY

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: L-4021 Emmett Street and Thomond Road , Thurles, Co.Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 12.00hrs on Saturday 8 July 2023 to 24:00hrs on Monday 10 July 2023.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling west on the N75 will continue on the N75 to the Slievenamon Rd./N62 junction where they will be diverted left onto the N62 Slievenamon Rd. and continue their onward journey.
Traffic travelling North on the N62 will continue on the N62 up to Liberty Square where they will join the N75 East and continue their onward journey.
Local Access will be maintained on the L-4021
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate safe pedestrian access to the Liberty Musical Festival.

Temporary Traffic Management on the L-1409-1 Rosegreen to Attykit, Clonmel,Co.Tipperary.
From 08.00hrs to 19.00hrs on the 29th of June 2023 for resurfacing works.
Diversions will be in place. Expect Delays. Local access will be facilitated

Temporary Traffic Management on the R495-36 Dromineer Village, Co.Tipperary.
From the 28 June 2023 to the 30 June 2023.
From 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Temporary Traffic Management will be in place.

Temporary Traffic Management on the R661 Dundrum,Co.Tipperary.
From the 29 of June 2023 to 30 June 2023 for road resurfacing.
From 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Stop/go in place, Access for local traffic will be maintained

Temporary Traffic Management on the L8321 Montanavoe to Ballinlough, Bansha, Co.Tipperary.
From 08.00hrs on the 28 June 2023 to 15.00hrs on the 29 June 2023 for road resurfacing.
Traffic to Divert along the R663, N24 and L8318, Access for local traffic will be maintained.

Temporary Traffic Management on the L-4124 Barracurragh between The Ragg and Ballycahill,Co.Tipperary.
From the 27 of June 2023 to the 28 June 2023 for resurfacing works.
From 07.00hrs to 19.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Diversions will be in place , Local Access only.

Temporary Traffic Management on the L3306 Saltbarn to Whitechurch, Co.Tipperary.
From 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs on the 26 June 2023 for road resurfacing.
Diversions along R639, L7304,L3302 and L3305. Local access maintained as much as possible.

From the 26 June 2023 to the 7 October 2023 for active travel works.
From 08.00hrs to 17.00hrs for the duration of the works.
Temporary Traffic Management System will be in place.
