Culture Night Programme

Local authorities, together with other stakeholders, may provide music performances, exhibitions and tours in museums, galleries, libraries and other venues as part of national Culture Night.

Culture Night Tipperary 2025

Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. Arts and cultural organisations present hundreds of free events, tours, talks & performances for you, your family and friends to enjoy. 

Building on the great success of previous years, County Tipperary will again celebrate Culture Night in 2025. 

The call for funding applications will open 16th May 2025 and close 19th June 2025 at noon.

Culture Night is brought to you by The Arts Council in partnership with Tipperary County Council and cultural organisations throughout the county.

Culture Night invites everyone, everywhere on one joyful night to discover and celebrate all that our culture is today. Join us in celebrating Culture Night in County Tipperary with a fantastic programme of FREE live and virtual events for all to enjoy.

In line with government guidelines on COVID-19 social distancing measures will be adhered to for physical happenings and performances. Please note due to COVID-19 measures booking for physical events will be a requirement.

Culture Night Tipperary 2024

Culture Night Tipperary 2024 attracted an audience of over 3000 people on the evening of Friday, September 20th, collaborating closely with arts and cultural partners, the Tipperary Arts Office developed and coordinated 38 events, across 12 towns and villages. Tipperary came alive with a vibrant programme of live performances, workshops, tours, screenings and exhibitions. Events were held in Clonmel, Nenagh, Templemore, Carrick on Suir, Cahir, Fethard, Borrisokane, Thurles, Tipperary Town, Cloughjordan, Cashel and Roscrea.
